Not another brand. Sisterhood.

By Abi, Founder & Foundation Pharmacist

Alafia means wellness. In Yoruba culture, it's a greeting , a way of seeing someone and saying: I hope you are well. That's exactly what we want every woman who finds us to feel.

Not sold to. Not talked down to. Greeted. Welcomed. Held.

This brand was born from personal experience. As a pharmacist, I had the clinical knowledge, but that didn't make the heavy periods hurt less, or quiet the anxiety, or stop the mood crashes from derailing my confidence, my relationships, my sense of self. I spent years searching for something that actually worked, and for a community of women who understood. I couldn't find either.

So I built both.

Alafia is a safe space as much as it is a supplement brand. You don't have to perform here. You don't have to be your best self to belong. Whether you're in your glowing era or your struggling one, period or not, uterus or not, biological woman or not, you are welcome, exactly as you are. And when you're ready to feel better? We'll be right there.

Women first. Sisterhood first. Evidence always.

Alafia greets every woman with wellness.

Our Values

Giving Back Through Community

Through our sister charity, the Rodesmade Foundation, we host community events that bring women together. Every penny from ticket sales goes directly to charity. Community isn't just our brand value. It's our practice.

Clinically Effective, Always

We don't guess. Every ingredient, every dose is evidence-backed and pharmacist-formulated. If it doesn't work, it doesn't belong in our products.

Radical Inclusivity

Period or not. Uterus or not. Biological woman or not. Alafia is for every body. No performance required, no perfect version of yourself needed to belong here.

Sustainability

We're committed to doing better by the planet because the same care we pour into women's bodies, we owe to the world they live in. From our packaging to our sourcing, sustainability is a non-negotiable, not an afterthought.

Education Is Empowerment

Too many women don't understand their own bodies because the information was never made accessible to them. We're changing that. We simplify women's health without dumbing it down, because knowledge is the first step to feeling better.

Every Story Matters

We're taught to fight our bodies, our hormones, our cycles, our appearance. Alafia rejects that. PCOS, endometriosis, adenomyosis, fibroids, pregnancy, a textbook cycle, every condition is welcome, every biology is celebrated.
